CareClinic, Inc. Expands Retail Clinic Operations
“Affordable Basic Care™” Awards Operations of three clinics in Grand Rapids and Wyoming, Michigan to CareClinic, Inc.SOUTHFIELD, Mich. - December 29, 2006 - Arcadia Resources, Inc. (Amex: KAD) will operate three existing Affordable Basic Care™ clinics through its subsidiary, CareClinic, Inc., in Grand Rapids and Wyoming, Michigan. With this action, CareClinic, Inc. now operates six retail-based clinics and anticipates operating 34 clinics in total by the end of the first calendar quarter of 2007.
The Affordable Basic Care™ clinics operated by CareClinic, Inc. provide a wide variety of services ranging from typical family illnesses to health and wellness screening tests, including:
- Treatment of common illnesses such as colds, flu, allergies, ear infections, strep throat and skin conditions
- Cholesterol, blood glucose and mononucleosis
- Health and wellness screenings such as blood pressure and blood sugar
- Vaccines such as hepatitis A/B, influenza, meningitis and MMR
- Referrals to health care specialists and/or services when necessary
