On June 26th, 2011 Arcadia's Birmingham branch was invited to participate in the local farmer's market Annual Health and Fitness Event. A tent was set up and free blood pressure screenings were offered to the public. The event was very well attended and quite a few local residents took advantage of the free screenings! Our nurses also had the chance to educate the public on the advantages of private duty home care. Future participation is planned and we look forward to providing additional health screenings this coming year!
